DC-3 captured by D5 / 180-400VR
Osh gathers some amazing people and even more amazing aircraft! Being located in WI and being held in July, you can add to this mix some really dramatic weather. That weather creates some gorgeous light and that’s when you wanna so hunting with your camera. This typically happens in the afternoon / evening when the crowds pile in for the airshow. An easy way to take advantage of the light and rid your image of people is look up. There are lots of aircraft like this DC-3 to photograph. Go long (560mm here) and isolate the light on the aircraft with the dark sky and you’ll find gold. It’s kinda a slam dunk because at Osh, the classics show up.
