Cessna 206 captured by D3x / 200-400
I like to have season-themed photos in the files, it makes it fun to tell the story of weather. I have them for birds, mammals, and landscapes but when it comes to aviation, it’s been a challenge. This was taken back in 2010 and ever since, I’ve been trying to improve on it. Gone to locations with aircraft only to find the trees still green or more often, the color has passed. A couple of years back, the trees were perfect and I was a day from flying to make the shots only to have a storm damage the hangar door so we couldn’t get the planes out. And the first attempt this year, the trees are green and brown. I’ll go to another location next week but I’ll tell ya, this is the annual challenge.
