Waco “Super Sport” S3HD
Waco between 1934 – 1937 produced “fighters” for countries on really small budgets, The S3HD is one of those aircraft and this is the only one produced from that line but not as a fighter but on request as a civilian aircraft. This is a one of a kind aircraft and she is gorgeous! I had the tremendous good fortune to meet her in the skies the previous evening and wow, what a photo mission. I was up before sunlight to spend more time with her. Her owner John caught me with coffee and camera in hand admiring her. A few minutes later we were in the air and I was at the stick flying this magnificent machine! It was a magical forty-five minute flight full of conversation and laughs. I can easily say I have now a new favorite!
