Thomas Morse Scout captured by Z 9 / Z7-
I’ve written about this amazing experience before, it’s one that I will always treasure. it’s another great example of when Just Show Up pays off. The thing is, I didn’t know it at the time, and in fact, I didn’t know it until a year later. A it turned out, this was the Scout’s second to last flight. Its last flight is when it flew to WAAAM where it is now on permanent display. An aircraft that as in Howard Hughe’s movie that I flew with was, is a museum piece preserved for the next generation. I’m quite honored to be the last to fly with it and just goes to sow you never know what the future will bring.
