PT-17 Stearmans captured by D3x / 200-400
I’ve only been able so far to do four A2A missions with a snow backdrop. One of my goals for 2025 is to do more of them. This requires three key ingredients, pilots wanting to fly in winter, winter itself – the snow and finally, flying weather. Getting all the moving parts coming together takes some advance planning, and calendars free to do the flying. That preplanning always has that one variable floating out there, the weather. Such is the first case for the first scrub of 2025. All the parts will remain in place for a future date, just have to deal with the weather aspect. With rain and snow in the forecast for the next three days, it’s a none starter.
