B-25 flight captured by D5 / 24-70f2.8
It started in Texas, Ellington Field to be exact where Betty was hangared at the time. It was April, 2017 and we were heading to Wright-Patterson for the 75th Reunion of the Doolittle Raiders. Enroute to Ohio, we’d stop overnight and hook up with another flight, Mid America Flight Museum. The next day being flown by Scott Slocum, we escorted the two B-25s. It’s hard to describe the joy that came from the luxury of time with these two magnificent aircraft. We traversed a vast variety of landscapes going from bald skies to complete cloud cover and everything in between. I took thousands upon thousands of images, and then thousands upon thousands. All now seven years later, each and everyone a treasured memory, ferry flight of a lifetime!
