South, Blue … North, White

When you can get out flying with such dramatic backgrounds, you go! You must be aware that the weather can turn against you as easily as you, the clock is ticking. The pilot knew exactly where he wanted to have his aircraft photographed so of we headed to the north. That’s when we saw the falling snow lit by the sun. It was gorgeous! To the south where we just came were blue skies, that was schweet too. How do I get it all? We simply did a sliding orbit, a tight circle that slowly went from east to west. It was a great flight, wish I was up there now!
