PA-12 “Tazmanian Devil” captured by Z 8 / Z24-70f2.8
Mike’s PA-12 is gorgeous! Mike is an amazing pilot, once part of a famous acrobat team. Ever since I saw the Tasmanian Devil years ago, I’ve wanted to do an A2A with it. I did a very informal, literally six-click shoot with it through a Goose window, but that doesn’t count in my book. I’ve even been fortunate to fly in Tasmanian Devil using it as a photo platform for the N3N-3 A2A. I was with it again last weekend, but only as a static. We have had A2A missions on the calendar only to have them scrubbed because of weather. As Mike likes to remind me, “all good things come with time.”
