Bücker Jungmeister captured by Z 8 / Z50f1.2
Summer is a glorious time to go flying. Early mornings, late evenings, it provides lots of time to take to the skies and revel in the joys of flight. For photography, it opens up lots of possibilities, only limited by the light. One of the ways I try to work around the bright nature of summer light with aircraft is to work with light colored aircraft like the Bücker Jungmeister. Hank was very trusting to let us work with his Bücker to place it where we thought would be best for the photo. I shot it prior to sunrise in the gorgeous Montana morning. Once the sun came up, I wanted to work the sun into the frame. The result you can see above. I was a brilliant morning working in the light of summer.
