Long ago in a hangar faraway, we heard the legend for the first time. A handful of years ago, we saw the parts gathered in a hangar and heard the goals. A year ago, after Thunderbird came home for the first time, I sat in its cockpit and got briefed on this amazing aircraft. And a month ago, I had the brilliant opportunity to fly with it for the first of many flights to come. She doesn’t have a bad side and with Warren at the controls, she graces the skies with silky speed. I look forward to spending a whole lot more time with Thunderbird, she’s a sweetie!
