Waco GXE captured by Z 9 / Z180-600
The weaning light, both color, quantity and timing signals the passing of summer. The day is often special, a celebration of sorts in the passing of seasons and time to prepare for winter. It seems every summer the day comes and I look and look for that photo that sums it all up. Being a romantic, I often look for a nostalgic twist. Like the boys of summer but no sports, more landscapy. I had the opportunity to photograph this gorgeous Waco GXE backlit as it flew over a field at sunset. When I saw it in the viewfinder, I knew this summer I would have that photo, one from the last days of summer.
