450 Stearman captured by Z 8 / Z24-70f2.8II
Dawn is coming but its light is not much help to tell the visual story, yet. We have many options when it comes to supplemental lighting, but my favorite is the simplest. This morning, I parked the 450 Starman so the light on the exterior of the hangar was pointed right at the cowling of the plane. I knew it would be overexposed compared to the rest of the plane but wasn’t concerned. By simply selecting it in ACD > Mask, it selected just that area and I could bring down the highlight. And with that, I made the click. Not so much dawn’s early light, but by the hangar light.
