A6M2 Zero & Spitfire MIX (both WWII veterans) captured by D4s / 80-400VR2

The Battle for Darwin, Australia, was a scary point at the beginning of WWII. The Japanese were battling hard to expand their territory with eyes on Australia. This is when resources were thin to known, the allies having nearly no presence. This is when the Spitfire operated mostly out of Darwin. Between 1942 and 1945, 656 Spits flew in defense of Australia. The Spits and their pilots suffered dear losses, but because of their efforts, the Japanese were never able to take the continent.
