AT-6A captured by Z 8 / Z24-70f2.8II
The subject of our photograph is the star, and the rest of the photograph is the stage we create to make it the star. There are times when there is a visual battle between the power of the star and the power of the stage. Which way to sway the viewer? In this case, the AT-6A was the star, but the clouds were such that they needed to share some of that limelight. How? I went with the cropping of a bit of a wing tip to place the cloud so it brought the eye to the subject, the plane, while still making the Texan the star. It just required a little zooming with the feet as the photo ended up being cloud-driven.
