F8F Bearcat captured by Z 8 / Z24-70f2.8II
It’s home for many, many years, was in the back corner of a hangar. Ignored, covered in dust, not flying, and not loved, there the Bearcat was parked. Then a young kid saw it, and it planted a seed. At age thirteen, the kid said, “Someday I’ll own that plane.” That dream materialized at Osh this year with the debut of that dust-covered bird all shinny and new. It’s gorgeous with a backstory worthy of a book! Whata Plane!
